This ready-to-go lesson is designed for grade 1-2 learners, but if you have strong students, it can also work in kindergarten.  This lesson was designed with Chinese in it as the L1 of the learners, but after purchase and download the PowerPoint can be edited, so all Chinese can be removed or changed into any language.

Target Vocabulary:
apple, banana, pear, orange, peach, strawberry

Target Language:

  • “How many (apples)?”

  • “There are (five) (apples).”

  • Singular vs plural: apple → apples, peach → peaches, strawberry → strawberries

Lesson Overview:
This bright and energetic PowerPoint introduces students to fruits, numbers (1–10), and plural nouns using fun visuals and interactive repetition. Students learn how to ask and answer How many...? questions while practicing English counting and plural spelling patterns.
